How MyHoopWorkouts handles data.

1. Who provides the service
MyHoopWorkouts is provided by ActivForge. For privacy questions, account deletion, or data access requests, contact support@myhoopworkouts.activforge.app.
2. Data we collect
Depending on how the app is used, MyHoopWorkouts may collect:
- Account information such as name, email address, user ID and authentication status.
- Coach, player, group and organization information needed to manage access.
- Workout, exercise, schedule, score, time, completion and training history data.
- Videos recorded or uploaded by users for exercise proof, review or demo purposes.
- Audio notes when users choose to record or attach voice feedback.
- Push notification tokens and device-related identifiers needed to deliver notifications.
- Technical logs used to operate, secure and debug the service.
3. Camera, microphone and notifications
The camera permission is used to record exercise videos, demos or proof videos when a user chooses a feature that requires recording.
The microphone permission is used for voice notes or spoken coach feedback when that feature is used. Users can deny or disable microphone access in device settings.
Notification permission is used to send workout reminders, assignment updates, exercise result updates and related app messages. Users can turn notifications off in device settings.
4. How we use data
We use data to:
- Provide the app, accounts, groups, organizations and workout features.
- Store and display exercises, results, videos, audio notes and coach feedback.
- Notify users about scheduled workouts, results and relevant activity.
- Protect the service, prevent misuse and troubleshoot errors.
- Improve reliability and product quality.
5. Service providers and sharing
We do not sell user data. Data may be processed by service providers that operate infrastructure on our behalf, such as hosting, object storage, database, email and push notification providers. These providers process data under our instructions to deliver the service.
Data may also be visible to other app users when required by the product workflow, for example when a player shares a result with their coach or when a group member can access a workout assigned to the group.
6. Retention and security
Data is retained while the account is active or while it is needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain backups or protect the platform. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections where supported by the app and server.
7. Access, correction and deletion
Users can request access, correction or deletion of their personal data by contacting support. Account deletion instructions are available on the account deletion page.
